Hyderabad: The Telangana Rising Global summit drew a strong wave of investments from domestic and global firms. During two days of meetings, companies signed deals worth ₹5.75 lakh crore in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. The first day saw commitments worth ₹2.43 lakh crore, while the second day brought ₹3.32 lakh crore in new proposals. Moreover, green energy projects secured the highest share with deals worth ₹2.99 lakh crore. As a result, firms said these projects would create direct and indirect work for 1,61,250 people.
The state received huge interest from companies planning pumped-storage units and solar plants. Therefore, they proposed 10,120 megawatts in pumped-storage capacity and 3,000 megawatts in solar power. Additionally, Telangana Genco signed ₹1,76,348 crore in deals with 11 firms, while TGRREDCO signed ₹1,23,350 crore in clean-energy agreements. Other sectors, including pharma, data parks and electronics, also drew major commitments from large companies.
Green energy leads massive investment inflow
Infrahive DC Park planned a ₹70,000 crore data park across 150 acres with one gigawatt capacity. Furthermore, JCK Infra Projects Limited proposed ₹9,000 crore for large data centres and expected 2,000 jobs. AGP Group announced a ₹6,750 crore data centre. Zen Technology agreed to invest ₹5,000 crore. Bharat Garuda then signed a ₹2,100 crore deal for a new vehicle unit.
Additionally, the Confederation of SC, ST Enterprises planned ₹577.11 crore in green industrial parks and expected 2,500 jobs. Biological E Limited announced ₹3,500 crore for vaccine and R&D expansion, thus raising its total planned investment to ₹4,000 crore. Fertis India Private Limited planned ₹2,000 crore for an advanced food and farm research unit and ₹200 crore for plant nutrients.
Moreover, Vintage Coffee and Beverages Limited planned a ₹1,100 crore freeze-dried coffee plant with 1,000 jobs. Reliance Consumer Products Limited announced a ₹1,500 crore unit with 1,000 jobs. Kaynes Technology, in addition, proposed over ₹1,000 crore for electronics manufacturing. RCT Energy India Private Limited planned ₹2,500 crore in three phases and expected 1,600 jobs.
Telangana Rising Global summit investment highlights
Parvue Group planned a 50-megawatt AI-driven data centre and expected 3,000 jobs. Meanwhile, Aurobindo Pharma announced ₹2,000 crore for expansion with over 3,000 jobs. Hetero planned ₹1,800 crore for drug units and expected over 9,000 jobs. Consequently, Granules India planned ₹1,200 crore with 2,500–3,000 jobs. Bharat Biotech announced a ₹1,000 crore advanced facility for research and manufacturing services.
Additionally, KJS India planned ₹650 crore in food and beverage units with 1,551 jobs. Godrej Industries Group planned a ₹150 crore dairy expansion with five lakh litres capacity and 300 jobs. Aquellon Nexus Limited proposed a 50-megawatt clean-energy data centre. Ankur Biovarma then signed a ₹250 crore deal for a centre of excellence.
Vizzy Holdings and Multi Omics Labs planned ₹2,500 crore over ten years for early-detection research. TWI Group announced a ₹1,100 crore plug-in hybrid motorbike plant with 500 jobs. Earlier, Mahindra and Mahindra planned over ₹500 crore for the Zaheerabad unit. India Extreme Adventure Group proposed ₹500 crore for an extreme-sports and e-sports arena.
Tourism and sports sectors also attract major deals
Moreover, Zurich Insurance chose Hyderabad for its first global capability centre. Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce planned its first India centre for engineering and cyber work. Maximus from the United States planned a public-sector tech operations hub. Additionally, GMR planned a satellite sports city. Analog AI announced a research and prototyping lab, while Altmin proposed a battery raw-material unit.
The tourism sector alone drew ₹7,045 crore and promised 10,000 direct jobs and 30,000 indirect jobs. Furthermore, Foodlink F&B Holdings planned ₹3,000 crore. Dream Valley planned ₹1,000 crore for a golf and resort project. Sarus Infrastructure planned ₹1,000 crore, while Atmosphere Core Hotels from Maldives planned ₹800 crore. KEI Group planned ₹200 crore. Multiverse Hotels planned ₹300 crore. Fludra India planned ₹300 crore, Havisha Hospitality planned ₹300 crore, and Ridhira Group planned ₹120 crore. Finally, Visaakha Recreation Private Limited planned ₹25 crore. IIFA Utsavam and Athens Events projected economic gains of ₹550–600 crore.
Film and media projects show strong interest
Ajay Devgn Film Studio planned film ecosystems under a PPP model with VFX units and workshops. Moreover, Salman Khan announced a township and studio project aimed at generating youth jobs. Blackstone Asia also showed interest in data centres, logistics hubs and commercial space. Lastly, Sumadhura Group proposed a new township and large mid-income housing clusters.
