Revanth proposes AI-driven traffic signal integration for Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday proposed integrating AI traffic signals across Hyderabad to improve traffic management and reduce congestion. He said advanced technology should help operate signals efficiently and ensure smoother traffic flow across the city.

The Chief Minister also suggested integrating artificial intelligence into the system to regulate traffic during heavy rains and other challenging conditions.

AI traffic signals proposed for smart mobility

Analog Founder and Chief Executive Officer Alex Kipman and MEIL Managing Director P. Krishna Reddy met Revanth Reddy at the Bodhi Pavilion of the MCR HRD Institute.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister suggested using physical intelligence technologies to improve urban infrastructure in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, company representatives presented a pilot project on intelligent traffic management and explained how advanced technology could address urban challenges.
