Medaram development master plan works to be fast-tracked, says Seethakka

Hyderabad: Telangana Tribal Welfare Minister Seethakka has directed officials to fast-track the execution of the Medaram development master plan. With Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s approval in place, the government aims to complete key infrastructure upgrades ahead of the next Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara.

Seethakka, speaking via video conference from the Secretariat, coordinated the review with Minister Konda Surekha, who joined from Warangal. Senior officials from Endowments, Roads & Buildings, and Panchayati Raj departments attended the meeting.

The Ministers noted that the countdown has begun for Telangana’s largest tribal gathering and stressed the importance of seamless execution. They asserted that the development plan would preserve Medaram’s legacy for the next millennium.

Drawings, designs, tenders for Medaram works to be finalized quickly

Seethakka instructed officials to complete working drawings and structural designs without delay. She also asked departments to prepare cost estimates and float tenders immediately to begin physical work.

The Ministers emphasized that the upgraded facilities must ensure convenience for lakhs of devotees and uphold Medaram’s cultural and spiritual significance.
