Jupally Krishna Rao flags off Adivasi tourism programme in Adilabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao flagged off the Adivasi tourism programme at Gonduguda village in Utnoor mandal of Adilabad district.

A total of 200 tribal participants began their journey to Hyderabad. They travelled in five buses. Officials scheduled their arrival at Taramati Baradari around 1 pm.

The two-day programme aims to provide exposure to urban infrastructure. It will also familiarise participants with tourism development and cultural heritage.

Adivasi tourism programme covers key Hyderabad landmarks

During the visit, participants will tour major locations. These include Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Charminar, Golconda Fort, Taramati Baradari, Lumbini Park, and Shilparamam.

Officials said the initiative will help participants understand urban growth. It will also showcase tourism potential and heritage sites.

Several public representatives and officials attended the flag-off. These included MLA Vedma Bojju, District Collector Rajarshi Shah, SP Akhil Mahajan, ITDA Project Officer Yuvaraj Marmat, and District Library Chairman Anil Kumar Kamde.
