Revanth Reddy recalls childhood lessons from Pedda Bala Siksha at TPS library

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recalled his childhood days after finding Pedda Bala Siksha in the library of the newly inaugurated Telangana Public School (TPS) at Arutla village in Manchala mandal of Rangareddy district.

During his visit, the Chief Minister browsed through the library’s collection. He later picked up Pedda Bala Siksha and spent a few moments turning its pages. Revanth Reddy said he had studied the same book during his childhood.

He recalled the lessons and knowledge it provided during his formative years. The moment drew the attention of students and teachers present at the school. It also highlighted the lasting influence of books on generations of learners.

The Chief Minister’s interaction with the book connected his early learning experiences with the aspirations of present-day students. He stressed the importance of developing reading habits from a young age.

According to him, reading helps build strong educational foundations. It also encourages lifelong learning and intellectual growth. Furthermore, the visit highlighted the role of school libraries in nurturing curiosity and critical thinking among children.

The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening public education. He said the government is focusing on improving access to quality learning resources. The Telangana Public School at Arutla forms part of a broader initiative to enhance educational infrastructure across the state.
