CM Revanth Reddy directs officials to stay alert as heavy rains lash city

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday asked officials to stay alert as heavy rains hit several parts of Hyderabad. He directed them to prevent inconvenience to the public.

Revanth Reddy told all departments to work together on relief measures. He noted that rainwater had blocked roads in many areas. He asked police, GHMC, and traffic officers to clear water and restore traffic without delay.

CM urges caution for residents in low-lying areas

The Chief Minister appealed to residents in low-lying areas and near open drains to stay careful. He advised people to avoid leaving their homes unless necessary.

Revanth Reddy also told GHMC and electricity department staff to provide quick help and safety checks in rain-affected colonies.
