KCR announces ₹2.25 crore aid for Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s family

Hyderabad: KCR aid for Peddi family will total ₹2.25 crore, BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao announced for the family of former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy.

KCR finalised the assistance after consulting senior BRS leaders and key office-bearers of the Warangal district unit.

The BRS chief said the party would stand firmly with the bereaved family during the difficult period. Meanwhile, he will visit Nallabelli village near Narsampet on Sunday.

KCR will offer his condolences to the family during the visit. He will also meet BRS leaders, cadres and supporters across the Narsampet constituency.

The interaction will focus on reassuring party workers and strengthening their morale following the former MLA’s death.

KCR aid for Peddi family follows former MLA’s death

Peddi Sudarshan Reddy died in the early hours of July 31 after receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

His association with KCR and the BRS began in 2001. The party then operated under the name Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Peddi Sudarshan Reddy also took part in the movement for Telangana statehood. He supported the cause from 2001 onwards.

During his political career, he served as the BRS district president for eight years. He later became the party’s State general secretary.

KCR announced the ₹2.25 crore assistance after consultations with senior leaders and Warangal district office-bearers. During Sunday’s visit, he will meet the bereaved family at Nallabelli.

He will also interact with local BRS leaders, cadres and supporters in the Narsampet constituency.
