Hyderabad: Prominent personalities from politics, business, media and social circles attended Shaik Ahmed Ali’s daughter’s wedding at Kings Palace Function Hall on Friday night.
Senior journalist Shaik Ahmed Ali’s daughter, Sumaiyya Begum, married Syed Atta-ur-Rahman Hussaini at the ceremony. Sumaiyya holds an MA in Economics.
The bridegroom holds M.Com and B.Ed degrees. He is the son of Syed Nisar Hussaini, proprietor of Syed’s Dairy.
The Khutba-e-Nikah was delivered by noted Islamic scholar Mufti Hafez Syed Misbahuddin Naqshbandi. Hafiz Mufti Syed Bahauddin Naqshbandi offered the dua.
Among the prominent political figures present was Advisor to the Telangana Government Mohammed Ali Shabbir. BRS MLC Dr Dasoju Sravan and AIMIM MLA Majid Hussain also attended.
Several Islamic scholars and community leaders also joined Shaik Ahmed Ali’s daughter’s wedding. Dr. Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi was among the notable attendees.
He serves as Shaykh-ul-Fiqh of Jamia Nizamia and Founder-Director of the Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Centre (AHIRC). Tahreek Muslim Shabban president Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik also attended.
Wedding draws leaders from political and religious circles
BC Finance Corporation Chairman Nuthi Srikanth and senior BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail were among the other guests at Shaik Ahmed Ali’s daughter’s wedding.
TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin and former Corporator Mohd Muzaffar Ali Khan also attended the function. Senior advocates Muzaffarullah Khan and Barkat Ali Khan were present as well.
