Sridhar Babu lays foundation for ₹651 crore KJS India unit in Sangareddy

Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Friday laid the foundation stone for the new KJS India unit at Thogarpally village in Kondapur mandal of Sangareddy district.

KJS India Private Limited will establish Unit-2 with an investment of ₹651 crore across 44 acres. The company will use advanced technology at the facility.

The company works as a co-manufacturing and co-packing partner for major global brands, including Nestlé, Hindustan Unilever, Mayora and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.

Officials said the new unit would provide direct employment to 1,551 people. Moreover, the project would create indirect job opportunities for around 5,000 people.

KJS unit foundation to boost Telangana manufacturing

The project is expected to strengthen the global presence of the Made in Telangana brand in the food processing and FMCG sectors.

Officials said the investment would support industrial growth and employment generation in Sangareddy district.

Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, Medak MP Raghunandan Rao and other leaders attended the programme.
