Telangana, Victoria strengthen bilateral ties in IT, VFX, and skill development

Hyderabad: Telangana and Victoria strengthened Telangana Victoria ties after Victoria Legislative Council Government Whip Lee Tarlamis met Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat on Saturday to formalise a broad-based economic and technological partnership.

The high-level meeting focused on expanding cooperation across technology, startups, and creative industries. Both sides discussed collaboration in emerging technologies, advanced manufacturing, education, skill development, gaming, visual effects (VFX), and animation.

During the meeting, Sridhar Babu outlined the Telangana government’s efforts to position the state as a global investment destination. He said the government was strengthening the industrial ecosystem to meet future challenges and stressed that international partnerships remained a key priority.

Investment opportunities under Telangana Victoria ties

The Minister said Telangana offered a favourable environment for industrial growth and invited businesses from Victoria to invest in the state. He also encouraged Telangana entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities in Victoria as both governments worked to deepen economic engagement.

Lee Tarlamis said Victoria was keen to work with a progressive state like Telangana. He added that both sides would identify priority sectors of mutual interest and prepare a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen Telangana Victoria ties in the coming months.

Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju also attended the bilateral meeting.
