Komatireddy Venkat Reddy reviews Praja Palana plans in Nalgonda

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy attended a Praja Palana meeting at Udayaditya Bhavan in Nalgonda district on Saturday. He reviewed constituency-level development plans and issued directions to officials and public representatives.

The minister said the government was implementing welfare schemes beyond its election promises. He stated that public welfare remained the main objective of the government.

Further, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the government decided to provide ragi malt to students in the morning and lunch in the afternoon from primary to Intermediate level.

He also announced the launch of the ‘Indiramma Kutumba Jeevana Bima’ scheme across Telangana to support families affected by accidental deaths.

Praja Palana meeting reviews welfare implementation

Meanwhile, the minister said the government was encouraging women’s empowerment through free bus travel and distribution of sewing machines to trained women.

He stated that the government was creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth through recruitment drives and job melas. In addition, NAC centres would introduce more training courses.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy instructed officials to complete sanctioned Indiramma houses by the end of May. He added that authorities would extend benefits to new beneficiaries in June.

Further, the minister said officials were taking steps to prevent delays in paddy procurement payments. He also said authorities were addressing transport-related issues during procurement operations.

After the meeting, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to beneficiaries.

Finally, he said the government aimed to ensure development and welfare benefits reached every household across Telangana.
