Hyderabad: Telangana Gangaputra Sangham state secretary and Warangal Gangaputra Housing Society director Tanguturi Rajesh Khanna Gangaputra on Thursday urged the Telangana Housing Corporation to clear pending financial assistance for poor members of the society under the Indiramma housing scheme.
Rajesh Khanna met Telangana Housing Corporation Managing Director Gautam and requested him to expedite the file related to extending financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each for the construction of Indiramma houses.
He said the Gangaputra housing aid proposal for poor members of the Warangal Gangaputra Society was currently under the corporation’s consideration. He requested the Managing Director to clear the file without further delay.
Rajesh Khanna stated that timely approval of the assistance would help several economically weaker families construct permanent houses under the government scheme.

According to Rajesh Khanna, the Housing Corporation Managing Director responded positively during the meeting and assured him that the issue would be brought to the notice of the State government.
He said the Managing Director assured that efforts would be made to resolve the matter at the earliest and facilitate support for eligible beneficiaries.
The Gangaputra Sangham has been seeking financial assistance for members of the community to help them secure housing benefits under the Indiramma housing programme.
