Telangana CM Revanth Reddy reviews Global Summit preparations

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the Global Summit preparations and issued several directions to officials. He stressed the need for coordinated arrangements to ensure smooth participation by delegates attending the summit.

The Chief Minister directed officials to appoint a dedicated liaison officer for every representative attending the Global Summit. These officers must coordinate with delegates and assist them throughout their participation in the event.

Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy instructed officials to complete delegate registration and pass distribution immediately after representatives arrive at the airport. He emphasised that authorities must avoid delays during the arrival process.

Officials must also provide delegates with complete information about the summit before the meeting begins. This would help representatives understand the programme and other arrangements in advance.

In addition, the Chief Minister directed authorities to appoint a dedicated officer and security officer for every department. He stressed the importance of clear responsibilities and coordination among different departments.

The Chief Minister also called for stronger security arrangements throughout the Global Summit. Officials must ensure adequate security measures for the event and its participating representatives.

Global Summit preparations to highlight Telangana’s key sectors

Revanth Reddy asked officials to give greater importance to tourism during the Global Summit. He directed them to showcase Telangana’s prominent tourist destinations before participating representatives.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed officials to organise a dedicated discussion on climate change during the Global Summit. The subject must receive special attention in the summit’s discussions.

Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for the summit arrangements by November 15. Departments must complete the planning process within the specified deadline.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to invite Chief Ministers from other states to attend the Global Summit. Their participation would form part of the event’s planned arrangements.
