Hyderabad: The Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika programme helped bring the people’s government closer to citizens across Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said during a review meeting at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
The Chief Minister reviewed the outcomes of the 99-day programme conducted across the state between March 16 and June 12.
Rajya Sabha MP V. Narender Reddy, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, DGP C.V. Anand and senior officials from various departments attended the meeting.
Officials submitted reports on activities carried out from the district level to the village level and the results achieved through the programme.
Revanth Reddy congratulated departments that actively participated in the 99-day action plan.
He recalled earlier instructions directing senior officials, from principal secretaries to district collectors, to undertake regular field visits.
The Chief Minister asked the Chief Secretary to submit a report on officials and district collectors who failed to conduct field inspections.
He also directed departments to record feedback received from public representatives and citizens during various programmes.
Furthermore, departments should identify and resolve issues raised in villages, he said.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to document development works, foundation stone-laying ceremonies and public assets created during the three-month period.

He directed Panchayat Raj officials to prepare a list of villages that still lack gram panchayat buildings.
The government should also formulate plans to construct new buildings in such villages, he added.
Revanth Reddy further instructed officials to install solar power plants on school buildings across the state.
The Chief Minister directed officials to implement facial recognition-based attendance systems across the education and healthcare sectors.
He said the system should cover institutions ranging from schools and colleges to Primary Health Centres, Osmania Hospital and Gandhi Hospital.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy instructed officials to conduct district-level reviews similar to the state-level assessment of the programme.
He directed the government to appoint a senior IAS officer as a special officer for each district to oversee the review process.
The administration should also release district-wise progress reports, he said.
In addition, officials were asked to prepare constituency-wise, mandal-wise and village-wise data on beneficiaries of government schemes and development works undertaken by the government.
The Chief Minister directed departments to make the information available through a dashboard.
He also reviewed the implementation status of assurances made during his district tours and government programmes after assuming office.
Revanth Reddy instructed the Planning Department to submit constituency-wise reports on the progress of those commitments.
