Telangana leaders pay tributes on Ambedkar death anniversary

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid homage to Dr B. R. Ambedkar on his death anniversary, and he recalled the leader’s role in shaping India’s constitutional foundations. He said Ambedkar’s work continued to guide public life and strengthen the principles of justice and equality.

Leaders recall Ambedkar’s legacy on death anniversary

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said Ambedkar sought fairness across economic, social, legal and political spheres. Moreover, he noted that Ambedkar drafted the country’s expansive Constitution with future generations in mind. He added that the death anniversary, therefore, served as a moment to remember the leader’s service and to offer formal tributes.

Minister D. Sridhar Babu said Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvana showed that social justice required daily effort. Furthermore, he stated that Ambedkar’s constitutional vision anchored India’s democratic values. He said equality, dignity and opportunity, consequently, remained central to honouring Ambedkar.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said Ambedkar’s legacy of equality and human dignity strengthened his resolve to defend the Constitution. Additionally, he said the legacy inspired collective efforts toward a more inclusive society.

Minister Seethakka described Ambedkar as an architect of an egalitarian order and a defender of oppressed communities. She said the death anniversary, therefore, carried deep significance and expressed her tributes to his work and ideals.

Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Ambedkar strove against inequality throughout his life. He stated that Ambedkar breathed life into the Constitution and continued to inspire national progress. Consequently, he paid homage on the death anniversary and noted that the occasion called for reflection on Ambedkar’s role in public life.
