Vishwa Brahmana Corporation governing body soon, says Mahesh Kumar Goud

Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Telangana government would soon constitute a governing body for the Vishwa Brahmana Vishwakarma Corporation and extend welfare support to the community.

During a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, leaders of the Telangana State Vishwa Brahmana Vishwakarma Matru Sangham submitted a memorandum outlining the economic hardships faced by the community.

They urged the government to provide immediate institutional support and welfare assistance. The association stated that nearly 16 lakh members of the community lived across Telangana.

Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress government was committed to ensuring justice for socially, economically and politically backward communities. He added that the Vishwa Brahmana Vishwakarma community would receive its fair share of support from the government.

Vishwa Brahmana Corporation governing body demanded

State Association president Dr. Vemulawada Madanmohan, honorary president Dr. Lalukota Venkatachari and general secretary Brahmasri Cholleti Krishnamacharyulu attended the meeting along with other leaders.

The association leaders stated that traditional occupations linked to the community had suffered heavily during the past decade. They claimed increasing corporate culture had weakened artisan-based professions and led to unemployment and financial distress among workers.

Leaders of the organisation said several long-pending issues affecting the community remained unresolved for decades. They urged the government to immediately release welfare funds and establish the governing council for the corporation.

Vishwa Brahmana Corporation welfare support sought

Association leaders said the absence of institutional backing had affected the livelihood of artisans and workers dependent on traditional occupations. They appealed to the Telangana government to take early measures for the welfare and economic protection of the community.

Mahesh Kumar Goud assured the delegation that the government would examine their demands and move ahead with the formation of the governing body for the corporation.
