Jupally donates four acres for mini stadium in Kollapur

Hyderabad: Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao donated four acres of his personal land for a mini stadium in Kollapur constituency.

The move fulfilled a commitment he had made to local youth and sportspersons.

The Jupally land donation involves property valued at approximately Rs 1.50 crore.

On Wednesday, the minister signed digital land transfer documents at the Kodair Tahsildar Office.

He formally transferred the land to the government.

The land is located at Veepanagandla mandal headquarters in Nagarkurnool district.

During an earlier visit to the area, Jupally Krishna Rao had assured local youth that he would provide land for a sports facility.

According to officials, the minister transferred four acres of patta land registered in his name.

The property is located in Survey No. 532/A at Veepanagandla mandal headquarters.

Subsequently, officials completed the transfer process through the digital land registration system.

They earmarked the land for the proposed mini stadium.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Munigonda Gopi and District Tourism Officer Kalvarala Narasimha served as witnesses during the transfer process.

They also provided digital signatures for the transaction.

Further, local residents and sportspersons welcomed the initiative.

They expressed gratitude to the minister for allocating land for sports infrastructure.

Additionally, many residents said the proposed facility would create better opportunities for rural youth.

The project is also expected to encourage sporting activities in the constituency.
