CM Prajavani helps newborn undergo life-saving heart surgery

Hyderabad: CM Prajavani helped a newborn with a critical congenital heart condition undergo a life-saving surgery after the Telangana Government sanctioned ₹8 lakh towards treatment costs.

Baby Gracy, daughter of K. Anjaneyulu, a daily wage worker from LB Nagar in Hyderabad, was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) shortly after birth. Doctors admitted the infant to a hospital for treatment.

The family later consulted another corporate hospital to understand treatment options. After conducting detailed examinations, doctors informed them that the corrective surgery would involve significant expenses.

Unable to afford the treatment, Anjaneyulu approached the CM Prajavani programme seeking financial assistance.
