Jupally Krishna Rao urges daily fitness after hour-long swim

Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Sunday urged people to make physical fitness a daily priority, saying good health is a greater asset than material wealth. He made the appeal after spending an hour swimming in a well at his agricultural farm on the outskirts of Kollapur town in Nagarkurnool district.

Jupally Krishna Rao said people of all age groups should include at least one hour of physical activity in their daily routine. He said yoga, meditation, walking, jogging, running and swimming could help improve overall health and well-being.

The Minister said regular exercise not only strengthens physical fitness but also helps reduce stress and improves mental health. He stressed that adopting a healthy lifestyle can help prevent several chronic diseases and improve quality of life.
