Hyderabad: The Telangana School Education Department will launch Education Week at LB Stadium in Hyderabad today under the Praja Palana–Pragathi Pranalika programme.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will attend the inaugural programme scheduled at 5 pm.
The government will organise the program from May 11 to May 17 across the State.
Officials said the programme would showcase initiatives aimed at strengthening government schools and improving educational standards.
Authorities will also launch several infrastructure and education initiatives related to schools in the CURE region.
Education Week to highlight government school progress
Meanwhile, the programme will focus on improving learning facilities and strengthening academic support systems in government schools.
Officials said the initiative also aims to upgrade school infrastructure and create child-friendly learning environments.
During the week-long celebrations, authorities will organise school development activities and student recognition programmes.
The department will also conduct teacher initiatives, enrolment drives, attendance campaigns and exhibitions across the State.
Officials said the celebrations would encourage participation from students, teachers, parents and local communities.
The School Education Department said the programme aims to transform schools into centres of learning and holistic development for children.
