Hyderabad: TRS chief K. Kavitha demanded immediate GO 190 implementation, accusing the Congress government of delaying key decisions affecting employees and teachers.
She alleged that the government lacked the resolve to act on important issues and instead relied on committees to postpone decisions.
Kavitha said the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted to examine GO 317 had recommended changes and led to the issuance of GO 190 as an interim measure.
However, she claimed that the government had failed to implement the order even after nine months.
According to her, employees affected by GO 317 include teachers as well as staff from several other departments.
GO 190 implementation remains pending, says Kavitha
Kavitha said the government had assured employees that it would transfer them to their native places.
She also recalled assurances about creating supernumerary posts if required.
Further, she noted that the validity period of the government order was only three years.
Despite that, she alleged that the authorities had not transferred a single employee under the provisions so far.
The TRS leader argued that the government should implement GO 190 irrespective of the rationalisation exercise linked to GO 25.
She reiterated her demand for the creation of supernumerary posts wherever necessary.
Meanwhile, Kavitha said her party would continue to fight on behalf of employees and teachers.
She warned that Telangana Rakshana Sena would launch a large-scale agitation if the government failed to implement GO 190 without further delay.
