Hyderabad: Parents alleged that Pallavi International School was involved in an assigned land row in Himayathnagar revenue limits. They also accused the school of renting its cricket ground for private events during examinations.
The school is located near Gandipet crossroads under Moinabad municipality. According to the parents, private events for IT employees were held on the cricket ground while students were writing examinations.
Meanwhile, they alleged that DJs and event commentary created heavy noise around the school premises. The parents said the disturbance affected students’ concentration and created difficulties during their examinations.
Parents further alleged that the school prioritised revenue generation over students’ academic interests. They objected to the use of the school ground for private programmes during an important examination period.
They said they had approached the local police station over the problems caused by the loud DJ sound. The parents sought action against those responsible for the disturbance.
Assigned land row raises questions over Survey No. 151
In addition, parents sought a detailed inquiry into the land used for the school’s activities. They specifically referred to Survey No. 151 within the Himayathnagar revenue limits as government land.
The parents demanded that officials examine the school’s activities and the use of the cricket ground on the disputed land. They said the inquiry should establish the status and use of the land.
At the same time, they urged education department officials to respond to their complaints. The parents warned that they would intensify their protest if authorities failed to take action against those responsible.
The allegations included both the alleged commercial use of the cricket ground and the disruption caused by loud events. However, the source did not provide any official response from the school or revenue authorities.
