Hyderabad: International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad and Athenian Tech Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on AI cybersecurity research, education, and industry engagement.
The partnership aims to strengthen cyber resilience through joint work in digital identity protection, threat intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-driven security solutions.
Under the agreement, both organisations will jointly launch specialised cybersecurity courses and conduct workshops, training programmes, and government-industry collaborations to enhance cybersecurity awareness and skills development.
The MoU was signed by U Deva Priyakumar and Kanishk Gaur.
Prof. Priyakumar said the collaboration would help bridge the gap between academic research and real-world cybersecurity challenges faced by industries and institutions.
Dr Gaur stressed the growing need for skilled professionals capable of tackling rapidly evolving cyber threats and securing digital infrastructure through advanced technologies.

The collaboration will also focus on creating stronger industry-academia engagement in emerging cybersecurity domains through research-driven innovation and practical training.
