Damodar Raja Narasimha calls for awareness on SIR during Sangareddy training camp

Hyderabad: State Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha called on Congress workers to strengthen SIR awareness and actively participate in the voter list revision process during a training programme for Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in Sangareddy Assembly constituency.

TPCC president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the programme as chief guest along with the minister.

Addressing the gathering, the leaders explained the objectives of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and highlighted the importance of maintaining accurate electoral rolls.

They urged party workers to thoroughly examine voter lists and ensure the inclusion of all eligible voters.

They also stressed the need to identify duplicate entries and remove ineligible names from the rolls.

Furthermore, the leaders explained the procedures for correcting errors in voter records.

SIR awareness programme focuses on voter list verification

Damodar Raja Narasimha said every party worker should gain a clear understanding of the SIR process.

He added that proper awareness would help ensure effective voter list verification and correction.

Meanwhile, the leaders offered several suggestions on strengthening field-level participation in the revision exercise.

MP Suresh Shetkar, Narayankhed MLA Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy, Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairperson Nirmala Jaggareddy and senior Congress leader Turupu Jayaprakash Reddy (Jagga Reddy) attended the programme.

Pathancheru Congress in-charge Kata Srinivas Goud, Neelam Madhu Mudiraj and other district leaders also participated.
