Hyderabad: Rains triggered by a cyclone lashed several districts on Monday and left paddy wet and muddy. About 3,500 quintals of paddy got soaked at the Gopalraopet market yard in Ramadugu mandal of Karimnagar district.

The rains also drenched paddy that farmers had dried in the fields in Narayanpet and Kamareddy districts. Farmers faced many difficulties as they tried to keep the crop from getting wet.
