Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that individuals linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) orchestrated the NEET paper leak for financial gain. He claimed the alleged leak had put the future of nearly 22 lakh students at risk.
Speaking at the “Chhatron Ki Goonj” student programme in Narayanaguda on Thursday, Goud said the incident had undermined students’ hard work and the sacrifices made by their parents. He attended the event as the chief guest under the chairmanship of DCC president Mota Rohit.
Goud also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for their silence on the alleged NEET irregularities. He claimed their response had weakened the confidence of students and parents in the examination system.
