Hyderabad: Panic prevailed after two auto-rickshaws caught fire at a petrol station near YMCA in Narayanaguda on Thursday.
According to available information, one auto-rickshaw caught fire while refuelling at the petrol bunk. The flames quickly spread to another vehicle parked nearby.
Petrol station staff immediately responded and prevented the fire from reaching fuel storage areas. Their swift action helped avert a major accident at the busy fuel station.
During the incident, one staff member sustained injuries while trying to control the flames. Later, authorities shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Officials said the injured staff member remained in stable condition after receiving medical attention.
Meanwhile, fire safety measures and the prompt response of the bunk staff helped bring the situation under control within a short time.
No other injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities are yet to confirm the exact cause of the fire.
