Hyderabad: A labourer electrocution incident claimed the life of a 45-year-old daily wage worker in MES Colony, Alwal, on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Suryanarayana, was trimming tree branches in front of an apartment when the accident occurred.
According to preliminary information, the branches came into contact with nearby power lines. Suryanarayana suffered a severe electric shock and died. Residents alerted the police after the incident.
Labourer electrocution occurs during tree-trimming work
Alwal police reached the spot and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. Suryanarayana worked as a daily wage labourer and supported his family through the job. He is survived by his wife and three sons. Police are continuing their investigation.
