Damodar Raja Narasimha presents certificates to TRR Medical College graduates

Hyderabad: Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha presented certificates to students of the first MBBS batch at the TRR Medical College convocation held at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad.

The minister congratulated the graduates. He described the medical profession as a noble service. He also extended his best wishes to the students who completed their medical education.

Addressing the gathering, Damodar Raja Narasimha said Telangana is steadily emerging as a major medical hub. He added that the government is strengthening quality medical education across the state.

TRR Medical College convocation highlights healthcare expansion

Meanwhile, the minister said the government is giving priority to public health. It is also improving infrastructure in government medical colleges.

Further, he said the government wants to make quality healthcare accessible at the district level. He stated that nearly 90 percent of medical services should be available closer to people.

Additionally, Damodar Raja Narasimha said the government is working to make Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals operational soon.

He also noted that the state has undertaken large-scale recruitment of doctors and nursing staff. These appointments aim to strengthen healthcare services across Telangana.

Meanwhile, Parigi MLA T. Ram Mohan Reddy, Director of Medical Education Dr Narendra Kumar, TRR Medical College management, faculty members and students attended the programme.
