Telangana Rising-2047 Vision attracts investments across sectors

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao directed Industries Department officials to intensify efforts to attract investments under the Telangana Rising-2047 Vision during a review meeting at the Secretariat.

The meeting was held at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat with department officials and project consultants.

Ramakrishna Rao said industrialists from several states were showing growing interest in Telangana. Therefore, he instructed officials to prepare focused action plans and maintain regular coordination with investors.

Telangana Rising-2047 Vision fuels industrial expansion plans

The Chief Secretary directed officials to facilitate MoUs and provide infrastructure support for investors. He also asked them to promote development schemes and incentives offered by both the state and Central governments.

Additionally, Ramakrishna Rao said large-scale investments would create more employment opportunities for local youth.

Officials informed the meeting that investors were showing interest in food processing, pharmaceuticals, handloom products, textile parks, IT industries, data centres and dry ports.

Meanwhile, officials said the Telangana Rising-2047 Vision was encouraging industries to explore long-term investment opportunities in the state.

They also informed the meeting that companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Infosys were planning investments in Telangana. Besides, investment activity was increasing in food processing and dairy sectors.

Industries Department Director Nikhil Chakravarthy and senior officials attended the meeting.
