Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed all departments and agencies operating under the Core Urban Region (CURE) framework to remain on high alert as Hyderabad heavy rains continue to impact the city.
He instructed police, traffic police, municipal authorities, HYDRAA, the Electricity Department, the Water Board and other agencies to work in close coordination.
The Chief Minister called for an urgent war-room review meeting to assess the situation and monitor developments in real time.

Senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and Special Chief Secretary (CURE), will participate in the review meeting.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential services across the city.
He stressed that residents should not face inconvenience due to adverse weather conditions.
Further, the Chief Minister instructed departments to identify vulnerable locations and maintain continuous monitoring.
Officials have also been asked to deploy emergency teams in advance at waterlogging-prone areas and other critical locations.
Additionally, departments will take precautionary measures based on rainfall forecasts and weather alerts.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for swift response mechanisms and effective coordination among all civic agencies.
Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and preparing contingency measures to address rain-related emergencies across Hyderabad.
