Ramchander Rao seeks probe into alleged Singareni coal scam

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the alleged Singareni coal scam and accused the Congress government of trying to divert attention from the issue by targeting BJP leaders.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office on Saturday, Ramchander Rao alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had levelled baseless allegations against Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

He claimed the criticism stemmed from concerns that details related to the alleged coal scam could come to light. According to Ramchander Rao, Kishan Reddy had written to the Chief Minister seeking a detailed investigation into the alleged irregularities.
