Ranga Reddy media accreditation committee meets Collector Narayana Reddy

Hyderabad: C. Narayana Reddy chaired a media accreditation committee meeting with newly elected members at the Integrated District Offices Complex on Wednesday.

He congratulated the members of the district media accreditation committee. Moreover, he directed officials to issue accreditation cards only to eligible candidates.

The Collector said authorities must follow rules under GO 252 while processing applications. He emphasised that adherence to guidelines would ensure transparency in the accreditation process.

C. Narayana Reddy said media representatives played a key role in informing the public about government schemes and development programmes. Therefore, he asked the committee to ensure the process remained smooth and fair.

He instructed members to follow rules strictly during accreditation. In addition, he advised them to discuss issues regularly and proceed in coordination.

He said continuous engagement among committee members would help resolve concerns efficiently. As a result, the process would remain consistent and accountable.

Media accreditation committee meeting concludes with felicitation

After the meeting, committee members felicitated the Collector with a shawl and presented a bouquet.

District Public Relations Officer Baleshwari and committee members including K. Sreekanth Reddy, Shekhar Uppari, Syed Ikramulla Hussaini, Annavarapu Shekhar Babu, Mohammed Siraj and others attended the meeting.

Officials said the administration would continue monitoring the accreditation process closely. Meanwhile, members reiterated their commitment to follow norms and ensure fairness.
