Hyderabad: Ranga Reddy District Collector C. Narayana Reddy directed officials to ensure immediate disposal of grievances received under the Prajavani programme, stressing prompt action and zero pendency.
The Collector issued the directions during the Prajavani programme held on Monday at the Integrated District Offices Complex. He reviewed petitions along with Additional Collector Chandra Reddy and District Revenue Officer Sangeeta.
A total of 53 petitions were received from complainants across the district. Officials accepted representations from various regions and forwarded them to concerned departments for action.
Prajavani grievances disposal ordered with urgency
C. Narayana Reddy instructed officials to respond quickly to complaints received during the weekly programme. He said departments must prioritise Prajavani grievances without delay.
He directed officers to avoid keeping applications pending. Instead, they must review each case regularly and resolve issues at the earliest.
Out of the total petitions, 10 related to the Revenue Department, while 43 belonged to other departments. The Collector instructed officials to take immediate steps to address all complaints.

The Collector emphasised accountability in handling public grievances. He said timely Prajavani grievances would improve public trust in administration.
He also instructed officials to monitor progress continuously. Therefore, departments must ensure that complaints do not remain unresolved.
Several district officials attended the programme. These included Additional Collector Chandra Reddy, District Revenue Officer Sangeeta, municipal officials, tahsildars, and other department heads.
The administration reiterated its commitment to strengthening Prajavani grievances disposal through regular monitoring and swift action.
