Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan on Monday oversaw the Prajavani grievance programme at the GHMC Head Office, where officials received 62 complaints from different zones.
Senior officials attended the programme. They included Additional Commissioner K Sathyanarayana, Additional Commissioner (Health) N Ravi Kiran, Chief Engineer Sahadev Ratnakar and Chief City Planner K Srinivas.
Land Acquisition officer Rama Devi, Director (UBD) V Venkateshwar Rao, Joint Commissioner (Admin) S Jayanth and Joint Commissioner (Revenue) G Rajnikanth Reddy also attended.
Prajavani grievance programme records zone-wise complaints
Officials said the Prajavani programme recorded 62 complaints in total. The Head Office accounted for the highest number, with 35 grievances.
Shamshabad Zone reported 12 complaints. Secunderabad Zone recorded nine complaints. Rajendranagar and Golconda zones reported two complaints each.
Charminar Zone and Khairatabad Zone recorded one complaint each. Officials reviewed every complaint and began follow-up action.
The Prajavani programme addresses civic issues raised by residents. It also ensures timely administrative response.
