Hyderabad: Jagital MLA Sanjay Kumar on Monday alleged growing internal divisions in the BRS and targeted senior leaders Harish Rao and Jeevan Reddy over recent political developments in the party.
Sanjay Kumar questioned Harish Rao’s absence from a key party meeting in Jagityal and asked why he was in Delhi instead. He said the development exposed internal strains in the party.
He also alleged that Jeevan Reddy’s entry into the BRS had triggered dissatisfaction among some party leaders. According to him, these tensions were now coming into the open.

Sanjay Kumar took aim at Jeevan Reddy and said parties he joined had failed to grow. He also recalled Jeevan Reddy’s earlier criticism of the BRS leadership over the Kaleshwaram project.
Further, he alleged that some BRS MLAs were holding “secret consultations” with Harish Rao. He said these meetings pointed to growing factionalism within the party.

Jeevan Reddy, who recently quit the Congress citing neglect, was set to formally join the BRS at a public meeting in Jagityal on April 20. The move followed invitations from KTR and a meeting with party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Sanjay Kumar said these developments showed visible differences within the BRS. He used them to argue that the party was facing increasing internal friction.
