Cyberabad civic works reviewed during commissioner meeting

Hyderabad: The Commissioner of CMC conducted a comprehensive civic works review meeting with senior officials to assess the progress of infrastructure projects, sanitation operations and grievance redressal systems across Cyberabad.

The civic works review involved Zonal Commissioners, Heads of Departments, Deputy Commissioners, engineering officials and field teams.

During the meeting, officials reviewed engineering projects, sanitation and solid waste management operations, town planning issues and mosquito control measures.

The Commissioner also examined grievance redressal systems and the progress achieved under the “One Ward Every Day” initiative.

Civic works review focuses on accountability

The Commissioner instructed officials to complete all civic works on time while maintaining quality standards. He also stressed the need for better coordination between departments for faster issue resolution.

Officials were directed to ensure meaningful grievance disposal instead of issuing generic responses. In addition, the Commissioner asked departments to conduct regular field inspections and maintain continuous follow-up at zone and circle levels.

He further instructed officials to prioritise issues identified during ward visits and improve accountability in field operations.

The Commissioner emphasised the importance of stronger monitoring systems and visible action on public grievances across Cyberabad.

Civic works review targets infrastructure projects

Departments were directed to accelerate works related to SNDP projects and waterlogging mitigation measures.

The Commissioner also reviewed junction improvement works, flyover projects and encroachment removal drives.
