Officials said Hydra teams freed four parks that local encroachers had taken over in the layout. The Janachaitanya Layout, spread across 120 acres, had earlier received HUDA approval, but private individuals later occupied open plots.

Hydra acted after receiving complaints from residents about encroachments in the layout. The team inspected the site with revenue and municipal officials and confirmed the illegal activities.

After inspection, Hydra demolished compound walls, sheds, and rooms built on occupied plots. The team also cleared encroachments covering 3,000, 1,000, and 500 square yard plots.

Officials began fencing work immediately after the demolition to secure the land. They estimated the recovered property’s value at more than ₹139 crore and said the operation would continue in nearby areas.
