Subhash Nagar civic issues reviewed under One Ward Every Day

Hyderabad: The Commissioner of CMC directed officials to address Subhash Nagar civic issues after reviewing residents’ concerns during a ward-level visit. The Commissioner visited Subhash Nagar Ward under the “One Ward Every Day” programme. The Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and officials from the departments concerned joined the visit.

During the programme, officials interacted with members of Residential Welfare Associations and discussed problems affecting the ward. Residents raised concerns about drainage overflow and damaged or unattended roads. They also sought improvements in sanitation and park development.

The interaction also covered construction and demolition waste lifting and the need for regular fogging in the locality. Circle officials recorded all the Subhash Nagar civic issues raised by residents during the meeting. Subsequently, the Commissioner reviewed the concerns with the officials present.

The Commissioner directed the departments concerned to take necessary action for early resolution of the problems. The visit formed part of the One Ward Every Day programme, which involved direct interaction between civic officials and residents at the ward level.

Officials focused on drainage, roads, parks, sanitation, waste clearance and fogging during the Subhash Nagar visit. The Circle teams were tasked with following up on the concerns recorded during the interaction with residents.
