CMC Standing Committee approves civic development works

Hyderabad: The CMC Standing Committee approved key infrastructure and civic development proposals during its third ordinary meeting held in Hyderabad.

Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan chaired the meeting. The Commissioner, Additional Commissioners, Zonal Commissioners, Chief Engineer, and other senior officials attended.

The Standing Committee reviewed seven agenda items during the session. It approved six items listed under the preamble. In addition, it cleared one table agenda item.

In total, the Standing Committee approved seven proposals. Officials said these proposals focused on infrastructure improvement and civic development.

The committee stressed the need for timely execution of all approved works. It also called for better coordination among departments.

CMC Standing Committee directs time-bound implementation

Officials instructed departments to follow strict timelines. They said teams must ensure outcome-driven implementation of projects.

They added that authorities should deliver visible improvements on the ground. The committee emphasised that works must benefit citizens directly.
