Hyderabad: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Public Enterprises and Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the Moosarambagh bridge and the Nalgonda X Roads Flyover, directing officials to expedite the remaining works.
The Ministers inspected both projects along with Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala and senior officials.
During the inspection of the Moosarambagh bridge, officials reviewed the progress of the ₹52-crore project across the Musi River. They informed the Ministers that the bridge structure and railings were complete. However, work on the Amberpet-side approach road and the Malakpet-side retaining wall and approach road was still in progress.

The Ministers directed officials to speed up the remaining works and complete the project at the earliest.
They also reviewed the ₹620-crore Nalgonda X Roads Flyover project. The flyover will provide a signal-free corridor from Nalgonda X Roads Junction to Owaisi Hospital Junction, covering Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santhosh Nagar and IS Sadan.
Officials informed the Ministers that they had completed the main flyover ramps, girders, slabs and bituminous works. Meanwhile, they continued work on road markings, signages, painting, side ramps and service roads.
The Ministers instructed officials to maintain quality standards while completing the pending works. Ultimately, they said both projects would improve urban connectivity, reduce travel time, ease traffic congestion and provide safer commuting for Hyderabad residents.
