Hyderabad: The All India Majlis Tameer-e-Millat (AIMTM) announced that the 77th Youm-e-Rahmatullil Alameen (SAWS) would be held at Exhibition Ground, Nampally, on August 26, 2026.
The programme was scheduled from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, the organisation said at a press conference in Hyderabad. AIMTM President Syed Ayub Hussaini attended the press conference along with Vice-President Dr. Mushtaq Ali and General Secretary Omer Ahmed Shafeeq.
Deputy General Secretary Mohd Moin Uz Zaman and 77th Reception Committee President Khaja Fareed Sharfi also participated in the media briefing. The organisation said the annual observance was expected to attract a large gathering. Accordingly, it invited people to participate in the programme at Nampally.
Youm-e-Rahmatullil Alameen programme at Exhibition Ground
AIMTM said preparations had been made for the Youm-e-Rahmatullil Alameen gathering at the Exhibition Ground. The programme formed part of the organisation’s annual commemorative observances. The organisers urged members of the community and other participants to attend in large numbers.
They said the Nampally programme would begin at 10:30 am and continue until 2:30 pm on August 26. The organisers also announced a separate programme, Youm-e-Sahaba, as part of the commemorative events.
That programme was scheduled at Chanchalguda Ground on August 27. It was set to begin at 8:30 pm and continue thereafter. Thus, the two observances were planned on consecutive days at separate venues in Hyderabad.
AIMTM representatives appealed to the community to participate in both programmes and support the annual observances. The organisers said the Youm-e-Rahmatullil Alameen event at Nampally would be followed by Youm-e-Sahaba at Chanchalguda the next evening.
They expected substantial public participation at the programmes and extended an open invitation to people to attend. The August 26 gathering was scheduled at Exhibition Ground, one of the city’s major public venues in Nampally.
Meanwhile, the August 27 programme was planned at Chanchalguda Ground from 8:30 pm onwards. AIMTM office-bearers jointly announced the schedule while addressing the press conference.
They reiterated their appeal for large participation and said community members should help make both commemorative programmes successful. The organisation said the 77th Youm-e-Rahmatullil Alameen would remain the main August 26 programme, while Youm-e-Sahaba would follow on August 27.
