Hyderabad Traffic Police launch Road Safety Summer Camp 2026

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police inaugurated the Road Safety Summer Camp at the Traffic Training Institute for children aged between 10 and 15 years.

Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, D Joel Davis inaugurated the programme on May 11 as the chief guest.

Officials said around 100 children registered for the camp.

The programme focuses on traffic awareness, road safety, basic life support and fire safety. It also includes personality development, dance, music, painting and handwriting improvement sessions.

Police said the initiative aimed to create awareness among children about road safety and help reduce accident fatalities.

Addressing the participants, D Joel Davis encouraged children to dream big and become responsible citizens.

He urged them to act as “Traffic Ambassadors” and spread awareness about road safety among parents, friends and relatives.

DCP Traffic-II Kajal Singh, Shishir Chathurvedi, Saroj Bala, Ananth Raj and other instructors attended the programme.
