Hyderabad: Endowments officials invited Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla to the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu and briefed him on arrangements during a meeting at Lok Bhavan.
Endowments Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer, Commissioner N. Hanumantha Rao, and senior officials met the Governor on Wednesday. They presented details of preparations for the event and the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.
Officials said the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu will run from May 21 to June 1, 2026. They added that the Godavari Pushkaralu will take place from June 26 to July 7, 2027.
During the meeting, the department delivered a detailed presentation on arrangements. Shailaja Ramaiyer said the government is making elaborate plans to ensure smooth conduct of the events.

The Governor enquired about accommodation facilities and crowd management measures. He also sought details on important temples, their significance, and coordination among departments.
Officials explained steps to manage large pilgrim turnout and ensure seamless arrangements. Special Chief Secretary to the Governor M. Dana Kishore attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Achampet MLA Dr Vamsi Krishna met the Governor at Lok Bhavan. In a separate interaction, Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, Commandant of MCEME Secunderabad, also met him.
They discussed training activities and institutional initiatives at MCEME during the meeting.
