Hyderabad: Endowments Department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer directed officials to complete arrangements for Saraswati Pushkaralu 2026 quickly and ensure smooth facilities for devotees.
She reviewed the preparations at Kaleshwaram along with District Collector Rahul Sharma and Superintendent of Police Sirishetty Sankirth.
Officials inspected parking tile works, pagodas, temporary shelters and parking arrangements at Saraswati Ghat.
Teams also visited Maddulapalli, Poosukupalli, Balijapur and areas near the Godavari bridge to inspect parking zones and BT road works.
Shailaja Ramaiyer instructed officials to complete museum works before May 18, according to Vastu guidelines.
Authorities expect large crowds during Saraswati Pushkaralu 2026, which will take place from May 21 to June 1.

Officials prepared a special traffic regulation plan with separate routes for RTC buses and private vehicles.
The administration is arranging parking facilities in 24 locations spread across nearly 260 acres.
Authorities will provide drinking water, electricity and medical services in parking areas.
Officials also decided to set up temporary water shelters at every half-kilometre.
The administration plans to establish pagodas, shopping stalls and play zones near Saraswati Ghat for devotees.
Officials will allot nearly 50 stalls for sale and promotion of products manufactured by local small-scale industries.
The district administration also plans to establish separate shelters for pindapradan rituals and a 20-bed medical camp.
Officials announced that the Kanchi seer will perform Pushkara snanam at the Triveni Sangam at 5.43 am on May 21.
The Governor of Telangana will also participate in the holy dip on the same day.
Religious advisor Govinda Hari, Additional Collectors Ashok Kumar and Vijayalakshmi, DFO Naveen Reddy, EO Mahesh and district officials from various departments attended the review meeting.
