Kaleshwaram sacred literature to be unveiled this evening

Hyderabad: Kaleshwaram sacred literature will be unveiled at a special programme in Kaleshwaram on Monday evening.

The publications document the spiritual, historical and cultural legacy of the temple town.

The Endowments Department will release three books on the occasion.

They include Sri Kaleshwara Khandam (1938) and Sri Kaleshwara Kshetra Mahatmyam.

The third publication is Kaleshwaram – Triveni Sangam of Sacred Wisdom, a coffee table book.

Moreover, the books will be available in Telugu, English and Hindi.

Kaleshwaram sacred literature highlights centuries of heritage

The publications bring together historical accounts, scriptures, legends and temple traditions.

Additionally, they explain the spiritual significance of Kaleshwaram and the Triveni Sangam.

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha will attend as chief guests.

Meanwhile, Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy will participate as guests of honour.

MLAs Gandra Satyanarayana Rao and Makkan Singh Raj Thakur will also attend the event.

Furthermore, Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer and Commissioner M. Hanumantha Rao have invited devotees and the public to participate.

The launch ceremony begins at 6 pm in Kaleshwaram.

Thereafter, organisers will conduct the Saraswathi Anthya Pushkaralu Maha Nadhi Harathi and cultural programmes.
