Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Sumathi Badugula fulfilled Rahul’s police officer dream by inviting the differently abled youth to the commissionerate headquarters and allowing him to experience the role of a police officer for a day.
Rahul, who was born with a disability, had long wished to become a police officer and hoped to sit in a police officer’s chair at least once. The Commissioner welcomed him warmly, seated him in her official chair, helped him wear a police cap, and spent time interacting with him.
The gesture brought a smile to Rahul’s face as his long-cherished dream became a reality. The programme reflected the police department’s efforts to connect with the community through compassionate initiatives.
