GHMC Prajavani grievances receive priority action from Commissioner Karnan

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan directed officials to give priority to GHMC Prajavani grievances and ensure prompt action on every petition submitted during the Prajavani programme held at the GHMC Head Office. He reviewed the representations, interacted with citizens, and instructed departments to handle each complaint with diligence, accountability, and timely follow-up.

The Commissioner stressed the need for efficient public service delivery and asked the concerned departments to respond quickly to every representation. Senior officials from the Administration, Engineering, Revenue, Town Planning, Urban Biodiversity, Veterinary, Public Health, and Land Acquisition wings attended the programme. They received petitions from citizens, interacted with applicants, and facilitated further action on the complaints.

GHMC Prajavani grievances totalled 53 petitions

A total of 53 GHMC Prajavani grievances were received during the programme. The GHMC Head Office recorded the highest number with 34 petitions. Khairatabad Zone received nine grievances, followed by Shamshabad Zone with four and Secunderabad Zone with three.

Rajendranagar Zone received two grievances, while Charminar Zone recorded one complaint. Golconda Zone did not receive any petitions during the programme.

The Prajavani initiative enables residents to directly submit civic complaints and requests to GHMC officials for review and action. The Commissioner reiterated that every representation should receive priority attention and be addressed through coordinated action by the concerned departments.
