Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) visited Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad on Monday to enquire about the health of senior party leader and former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who suffered a cardiac arrest.
KCR met the treating doctors and reviewed the treatment being provided to Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. Meanwhile, he spent nearly 30 minutes at the hospital and appealed to the medical team to make every possible effort to save the senior BRS leader.
He also assured Sudarshan Reddy’s family of the party’s full support. In addition, he said the party would extend financial assistance if required.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy remains under critical care
Doctors informed KCR that Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s heart, lungs and other vital organs were functioning. However, they said his brain would require another 48 hours for further assessment.
The medical team told KCR that the former MLA was receiving advanced critical care. Furthermore, specialists from the United States and other countries were providing expert inputs on his treatment.
Hospital Director Dr. Pawan Gorukanti and Managing Director A.S. Rao assured KCR that the hospital was providing the best possible treatment. Accordingly, they said the team was using advanced medical technology and consulting senior specialists continuously.
