Bribe sought over rent bill for veterinary dispensary building
The ACB said the panchayat secretary demanded a bribe on September 6, 2008. The demand related to a rent bill for the Shayampet building that houses the veterinary dispensary. The bill was worth about Rs 25,500. According to the case, Kumaraswamy took Rs 4,000 as a bribe to act favourably in preparing the bill and issuing a cheque for that amount in the complainant’s name.
